Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and edit AI-generated content to meet high standards of clarity, accuracy, and style.
  • Develop and implement training materials and datasets for AI models, focusing on improving narrative structure and linguistic quality.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to provide actionable feedback for AI training iterations.
  • Identify and analyze patterns in AI outputs to enhance model performance and minimize errors.
  • Conduct research on current writing trends, genres, and best practices to inform AI training strategies.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Champion best practices in written communication, ensuring AI aligns with the customer's editorial guidelines and intended voice.

Required skills & qualifications

  • Proven experience as a writer, author, editor, or related role with a strong portfolio of published work.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with acute attention to detail and nuance.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or digital content creation tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to critique, revise, and enhance long-form and short-form content.
  • Ability to interpret and apply feedback constructively within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities in a remote environment.
  • Enthusiasm for bridging the gap between human creativity and technology.

Preferred qualifications

  • Prior experience training AI language models or working with NLP technologies.
  • Knowledge of diverse writing genres and advanced editorial standards.
  • Background in educational content creation or instructional design.
