Skills

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe Thai video and audio content, providing accurate timestamps and detailed contextual commentary.
• Describe the emotional tone and intent of speakers, capturing subtle nuances in dialogue.
• Analyze complex grammar structures, usage, and tone within both formal and informal Thai.
• Define conceptual aspects of vocabulary, including word meanings, slang, and idiomatic expressions.
• Annotate data and language resources to support robust AI language model development.
• Craft high-quality written content and linguistic evaluations in both Thai and English.
• Collaborate with the customer's team to ensure linguistic quality and relevancy.

Required skills & qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Thai and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong background in linguistics, language studies, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in language data annotation, transcription, or corpus development.
• Ability to analyze and articulate grammatical, tonal, and emotional distinctions in spoken and written language.
• Outstanding attention to detail and a passion for language precision.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to commit at least 15 hours per week to project work.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with training or evaluating AI language models or speech recognition systems.
• Advanced degree in linguistics, applied language studies, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience collaborating on complex language or data projects with international teams.
