Key responsibilities
- Review, edit, and translate content to and from Telugu, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support language requirements in communications, documentation, and marketing materials.
- Develop and maintain Telugu language glossaries, style guides, and best practices documentation.
- Provide expert language feedback and consultation to support localization initiatives and user engagement strategies.
- Conduct quality checks and linguistic assessments of Telugu content for consistency and correctness.
- Support training and onboarding of team members on Telugu language standards and nuances.
- Monitor trends in Telugu language usage and implement improvements to enhance overall communication effectiveness.
Required skills & qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in Telugu (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated experience with translation, localization, or linguistic review.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Solid understanding of Telugu cultural norms, idioms, and regional differences.
