Key responsibilities

• Transcribe Galician-language video content with meticulous attention to accuracy and clarity.
• Clearly outline and annotate precise timestamps for dialogue and scene changes.
• Analyze and describe the emotional tone and intent of speakers, capturing subtleties and mood shifts.
• Conduct advanced grammar, syntax, and tone analysis to ensure linguistic fidelity.
• Define and explain the conceptual meaning of words and idiomatic expressions within context.
• Collaborate with the customer's team to deliver insightful linguistic feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Consistently meet complex language task requirements, adhering to a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.

Required skills & qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in both Galician and English languages.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for linguistic detail.
• Proven experience in transcription, translation, or language analysis.
• Strong understanding of Galician and English grammar, syntax, and cultural context.
• Ability to identify, articulate, and describe speaker emotion and content tone.
• Technological proficiency and comfort working with digital content and collaborative platforms.
• High level of self-motivation and commitment to delivering quality work independently.

Preferred qualifications

• Degree in Linguistics, Philology, Translation Studies, or related field.
• Experience with linguistic annotation or corpus analysis tools.
• Background in educational, research, or media translation projects.
