Key responsibilities

  • Leverage advanced Excel skills to structure, analyze, and present data for AI model training.
  • Collaborate closely with the customer's team to understand project objectives and deliver insightful business intelligence solutions.
  • Prepare, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure data accuracy and integrity for use in AI systems.
  • Develop and document BI workflows and processes with an emphasis on clear, concise written and verbal communication.
  • Translate business questions into actionable data insights and contribute input for model improvement.
  • Create detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Excel to support AI training initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation using Excel functions and add-ons.

Required skills & qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in business intelligence or analytics, with a primary focus on Excel.
  • Exceptional proficiency in advanced Excel features such as Power Query, PivotTables, VBA, and data modeling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to work independently and remotely, managing time and deliverables efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of business processes and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience cleaning, preparing, and validating large datasets for analytics or AI training purposes.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable outputs.

Preferred qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting AI, machine learning, or data science projects through BI initiatives.
  • Background in process automation or optimization using Excel or complementary tools.
  • Relevant certifications in business intelligence, analytics, or Excel.
