Key responsibilities

• Translate, edit, and localize a variety of digital content from English to Bengali and vice versa, ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy.
• Collaborate with AI trainers to develop, review, and refine Bengali language data for advanced machine learning models.
• Conduct quality checks, proofreading, and validation of Bengali language outputs to uphold high-quality standards.
• Utilize digital tools and platforms to annotate, tag, and organize linguistic data efficiently.
• Provide insightful feedback to enhance written and verbal communication in Bengali, supporting AI-related projects.
• Contribute to the adaptation of global content and products for Bengali-speaking audiences through nuanced localization strategies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals align with local language requirements.

Required skills & qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in written and spoken Bengali, with excellent command of grammar, syntax, and style.
• Strong experience in editing and translating digital content between Bengali and English.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating attention to detail and cultural sensitivity.
• Familiarity with digital tools and language technology platforms.
• Proven ability to localize content, adapting for different Bengali-speaking regions as needed.
• Experience working in fast-paced, tech-driven environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience as a language expert or AI trainer, especially in the context of Bengali language projects.
• Background in linguistics, computational linguistics, or a related field.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) tools or methodologies.
