Key responsibilities

• Review and correct machine-generated Bengali transcriptions to ensure linguistic accuracy and natural fluency.
• Record clear and high-quality audio renditions of Bengali text using reliable equipment in a quiet environment.
• Transcribe spoken Bengali with precision and attention to contextual nuances.
• Create accurate captions to accompany audio or video content for various applications.
• Collaborate with the customer's team to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
• Provide feedback on linguistic challenges and contribute ideas for workflow improvements.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in every stage of the language processing pipeline.

Required skills & qualifications

• Fluent proficiency in Bengali, with a strong grasp of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Demonstrated experience in transcription, captioning, and/or voice acting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bengali and English.
• Ability to identify and correct errors in machine-generated transcriptions.
• Access to good audio recording equipment; a standard laptop mic is acceptable if in a quiet environment.
• Proven attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality linguistic work.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setup.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience supporting AI or technology-driven language projects.
• Background in linguistics, media, or related fields.
• Experience working with multicultural or international teams.
